Address or search

Is it possible for there to be a setting that locks the address bar to just that, if you insist on being a clone of chrome in UX? I liked the interdependent search bar as it was reasonably long so you could adjust what you entered. It seems crazy to me to be pushing all user input into one tiny bar. The main problem I have is I often enter lan and direct urls to private addresses and have problems with Firefox handing it off to the search engine. This problem has got worse with each...

New feature: Highlight entire line during search

It would be great to add to the web search menu (Ctrl + F) an option to not only highlight the word to search, but to highlight the entire line in a different color, perhaps slightly lighter. On a muted web page, opening a link in a new tab should mute that tab also.

If you're in a tab or website that you already have muted, anything you do in that tab or website is supposed to be silent. If you open a new tab from a link on that page, Firefox should assume you still want to keep things muted. This wouldn't apply to opening a link in a new tab from anywhere else, manual URL or bookmarks, or a tab that isn't already muted.

Swiping in site history with two fingers like on mac

It would be nice if you could swipe with two fingers on touchpad to go back to a previous page. On MacOS Firefox its already implemented, Chrome on Windows does have it to. Only Firefox on Windows does not have it. There are some Addons which doesnt work that good.

Don't exit tab-view when closing the last private tab on android.

I currently count a minimum of 6 clicks to close the last private tab and open a normal one. This is due to the tab-view closing when you close the last private tab, and the empty tab for some reason instead being shown when attempting to view a normal tab again.

Multiple Search Keywords

Keywords are a useful feature when searching different providers quickly. Firefox already sets certain keywords for their preloaded search engines, with some - namely DuckDuckGo - having more than one. It would be helpful if users were able to define more than one search keyword for the providers they add themselves.

Media control support for websites

Presently, it is not possible to play the previous or next track while using Firefox on Android. It is possible to play or pause, but thats it. I think this should be implemented, just as it is implemented in Chrome on Android. I came across this while using Firefox for Android on Android 11, browsing youtube.com and using diffuse.sh

Right Alt Arrow button to navigate back or forward

There should be option to use ' right alt'  and arrow buttons to navigate back or forward since it closer to arrow buttons, then it'd more convenient to use this shortcut than using left alt and arrows . I don't know why this doesn't work at all since it'd more convenient than using left alt button.

Create custom website-specific search options

We all loved the feature where you can type, for example, @amazon and then search straight using the search engine in amazon... Would be optimal to be able to add and customize those custom searches... For example youtube should be pretty easy to add since there is a standard search link in the form of https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query= followed by the query with spaces replaced by + signs... shouldn't be that hard to make a customize window and add function for any website we...

Save suggested URL in address bar

The current behaviour: 1. Type an address beginning in address bar. E.g.: https://translate.google.com/ 2. Complete an address from the drop-down FireFox suggest by using arrow keys. E.g.: https://translate.google.com/?sl=en&tl=ru&op=translate 3. Hide the suggest drop-down by pressing Esc key. (If you press Enter now, FireFox will navigate to the completed URL - it's OK by now) 4. Switch to another window, or click anywhere on the page 5. The URL in the address bar will return...
